Recommended Nuts
F1852 and F2280 TC Bolts
TC bolts (short for Tension Control bolts) will almost exclusively come as a set. The washer and nut will already be assembled with the bolts when purchased.
Compatible nuts for F3125 A325
- The recommended nuts for the A325 type 1 bolts are A563 DH or A194 2H, however, there are a few other suitable grades.
- The recommended nuts for the A325 type 3 bolts are C3, however, A563 DH is also acceptable
Compatible Nuts for F3125 A490
- The recommended nuts for the A490 type 1 bolts are A563 DH or A194 2H, however, A563 DH is acceptable.
- The recommended nut for the A490 type 3 bolts is A563 DH3.
Recommended Washers
F436 Washers
Weathering steel. Although the strength is the same as Type 1, Type 3 washers are made from weathering steel which contains copper, chromium, and nickel. This forms an oxide coating that protects the base material from corroding.
